What is the proper course of reaction?
Water - the element that is most difficult to predict and control; seemingly calm and safe, water may pose a serious threat. Every year it is the cause of numerous deaths. For no obvious reason, in recent years there has been a significant increase in the number of water-related deaths. According to statistics, more than 650 people drowned in 2014 in Poland.
There is no universal rule designed to prevent water-related disasters. However, it is worth investing in education and awareness building; irresponsible behaviour can lead to accidents and even death.
The third edition of the event targeted at Świętokrzyskie schools' pupils and youth is organized by Świętokrzyskie Association - Volunteer Water Rescue Service WOPR Kielce and Targi Kielce.
