The decision as to converting the Kielce exhibition centre into a public limited company was made by the General Meeting of Shareholders of Targi Kielce. The Kielce councilors also unanimously adopted a resolution on the municipality, which owns almost 100% of the shares, acceding to this project.

Changing the legal form, from a limited liability company into a public limited company, will facilitate a more effective utilization of the company's potential and market opportunities.

"We have reached the level of European fair organizers such as those in Bratislava and Prague. We boast the highest growth rate in Poland, being one of the two largest companies on the exhibition market. We annually rent over 153,000 square metres of exhibition space to more than 5,500 companies, and we are visited by 160,000 people from 55 countries," says Andrzej Mochoń, President of the Management Board of Targi Kielce. “Maintaining the position of a major player on the European market will require substantial capital. Two options are taken into consideration: Targi Kielce going public or inviting an industry investor.”
