THE MUSEUM EAGLE AT THE LIGHT AVIATION EXPO

One of the Light Aviation Expo exhibitors is the Polish Aviation Museum from Krakow, which will present, an amateur Eagle aircraft in oddition to many other.

Janowski J-3 Eagle is Polish   amateur plane.  This is another single-seater after J-1 Prząśniczka and J-2 Polonez plane constructed by Jarosław Janowski. A single plane was built in 1977-78 by Witold Kalita, J. Janowski and Marian Nowak, the later was to use the aircraft.  The wooden construction plane with a flaperon along the entire length of the Wortmann profile aerofioil has fuel tanks in the wing tips and composite undercarriage  strut.  The plane  was propelled with Porsche, Rotax and BMW R100 engines.

Marian Nowak brought the plane to Canada in 1980. J-3 took part in the Oshkosh rally as the first  amateur construction  from the communist bloc. In 2003, the aircraft was handed over by Wiesław Pawełkiewicz from Canada, its last owner to the Museum. Now you will be able to admire this amateur plane in Targi Kielce  on 13 and 14 October at th e TLL Expo.
