This year’s edition of the region's favourite trade fairs is now over, the exhibitions attracted almost 20,000 visitors. Not only could the expo visitors become familiar with the companies’ latest offer. The expo was also the place to find hints regarding home and flat construction and decoration as well as to dispel any kind of doubts. Tiles, doors and windows were on show in abundance. The expo scope also included fireplaces, stoves and fashionable accessories which are this season’s best sellers, and among them lamps, figurines and original structures to finish off walls. It is worth mentioning designer lamps made of car parts, wooden stairs
and chic wooden tables with epoxy resin. The house on wheels which which makes it possible to have an abode of your own for mere 120 thousand PLN proved to be the real hit.
Developers' offer addressed at those who have dreamt about having their own flat was also an important part of the expo. The trade fair guests had the chance to learn all the details of the offers presented by Ryszard Grzyb Nieruchomości, Archibis Development, Eurolocum, EKO PARK, Wojas Development and EPA Investment. There were stylish lofts and modern apartments in abundance. The housing estates full amenities which are already waiting for new tenants were also attractive to expo guests.
Insurers and architecture studios presented a wide and diversified offer.The Tips and Advice Zone was the place to meet
interior designers and garden specialists and discuss your problems. The main topic discussed at the - energy-efficient houses.
One of the novelties at this year's expo was the Advice Zone - architects, specialists, company representatives and members of the Polish Association of House Builders discussed the key issues related to buying a home for credit, passive houses, and even ... edible worms. The latter was presented as the trend for the coming years. The lectures agenda did not fall short of fireplace choosing tips, factual knowledge about thermal bridges and a detailed lecture on renewable energy sources. The expo visitors were looking for inspirations - those interested in original finishing listened to lectures and attended the technology show on how to apply decorative plasters. The lectures proved very popular with the trade fair guests. The speech "How to finish a house off without running off your energy" was a great complement.
The four-wheelers fans also had no reason to complain. As part of the Kielce Car Showrooms, the visitors could see the latest models of showcased by famous brands such as MAZDA, OPEL, CITROEN, FORD, KIA, VOLVO, HONDA, RENAULT, VW, SEAT, SSANGYONG, and SUBARU.
In addition to the permanent exhibition, which included interior design elements and construction materials, flowers and cuttings, there were many new products on show, conferences and workshops galore. The organisers of the “Stone in its natural deposit, landscape and architecture” conference - the Świętokrzyskie Branch of the Polish Geological Institute - National Research Institute and Targi Kielce offered those interested a chance to attend a dozen lectures, Boston stone cladding on the Freedom Trail, rocks in Romanesque churches architecture in Krakow region, biological corrosion in construction stone - these and many other topics were on the agenda. Much attention was devoted deterioration made of stones ageing processes both in rock matter as well as in the urbanised areas. The lectures focussed on the Warsaw Royal Route geology related strolls and the Chinese and Swedish granites.
The guests who attended the upholstery and furniture renovation classes were introduced to DIY furniture restoration techniques and learnt how to give the furniture a completely new look. The training session was based on the master-disciple format, the curriculum puts practice at the top of priority list. Aleksander Kądziela MsC, a master in upholstery, wood technologist, business psychologist, court expert expert on furniture was responsible for the workshop.
The National Parquet Association followed the many-year expo tradition and organised the live shows.
This year's exhibition included the question of smog combat and elimination. In addition to the latest generation boilers available at the expo stands, the Municipal Police conducted demonstrations on how use a boiler up-to-bottom incineration technique designed to minimize smog. The consultation point was the place to get first-hand information and details.
