AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA IN THE TARGI KIELCE - THE EXPO IS HELD ALREADY FOR THE 25TH TIME

Nearly 260 companies from 18 countries take part in 25th International Fair of Road Construction Industry AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA, May 14 at 10 - a great kick-off start at Targi Kielce

This year's event’s edition is unique owing to the fact that the expo celebrates is 25th anniversary.  Not only is this a good opportunity to celebrate. This is also a chance to join the debate on the industry’s problems and possible solutions.  The related exhibitions are held at the same time  as the AUTOSTRADA -POLSKA Expo - the infrastructure, road transport and parking technologies business-sectors expos are presented at the TRAFFIC-EXPO - TIL, ROTRA and Europarking.

The cluster of the four simultaneously held exhibitions offers a comprehensive presentation platform for the broadly defined infrastructure business-sector.  This is a unique one-stop-shop presentation for the whole business-sector.  The expos provide a unique opportunity to showcase new products and technologies, identify development directions.

 - We are not slowing down the pace, we will continue to develop and modernize the roads and motorways network in Poland - Rafał Weber, the Secretary of State Secretary at the Ministry of Infrastructure said during the opening ceremony, which officially launched the exhibitions cluster at Targi Kielce. 

 - We are happy that for 25 years the AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA expo has been and remains an important meeting place for the whole industry, the place to discuss the current needs of road construction business milieus - said President Andrzej Mochoń.   

The ceremony was graced with the presence of  Arkadiusz Kubiec, Deputy Mayor of Kielce; Tomasz Żuchowski, the General Director for National Roads and Motorways. This presentation was preceded with the broadcast of the film devoted to the 200th anniversary of Generated Directorate of National Roads and Motorways.

The speakers list also included Professor Leszek Rafalski, Chief Executive of the Road and Bridge Research Institute and the President of the Academy of Engineering in Poland; Barbara Dzieciuchowicz, President of the Board of the Chamber of Road Construction Industry. Jan Buczek, President of the Association of International Road Carriers in Poland who spoke on behalf of road carriers. The jubilee congratulations for AUTOSTRADA-POLSKA were offered by Krzysztof Kieres, Member of the Board of the Polish Cement Association.  

Adam Derza, District Labour Inspector in Kielce read the letter from the Chief Labour Inspector, Wiesław Łyszczek. Alvin Gajadur, Chief Inspector of Road Transport Inspection and Róża Thun, Member of the European Parliament also took the floor.
