BARTOSZ OSTAŁOWSKI - THE WORLD’S ONLY FOOT-DRIVING DRIFTER JOINS THE DUB IT 2019

Bartosz Ostałowski’s life has always been associated with cars, from an early age.  When still a little boy, he dreamed about becoming a race driver in the future.  Unfortunately - at the age of 20, Bartek suffered a traffic accident - he lost both hands.  His career in the automotive sports seemed impossible.

However, hard work and self-restraint advanced Bartek to get back on the track and jump in front of the steering whell.  In 2010 he entered the Rzemieślnik Automobile Club ranks - he obtained the race driver license. Thus his childhood dream came true.

In 2011, Bartek competed in the European Rally Cross Championship, Bartek came in the middle of the ranking.  The same year he also had a go at the Polish Racing Cup on the Poznań Race Course;  Bartosz won one of the rounds in his class.

A new chapter in Bartek's car-racing career began in 2012 -  with the Inter Cars support, the driver began building a drift-car based on the iconic Nissan Skyline R34.  Later on, a powerful V8 engine from Chevrolet Corvette landed under his hood.  The new car made it possible to have one-off go in the Super Drift Cup and Drift Open.  However, the car required constant modifications to meet Bartek's needs.

In the 2015 season, Bartosz made his debut in the Drifting Polish Championships. A year later he also premiered in the Drifting European Championship - King of Europe, ranked 23rd place in the general classification. 2017 was particularly successful for Bartek - in February he appeared in the final episode of "The Grand Tour".  In the drift battle clash Bartek defeated Richard Hammond.

The 2017 season was also marked with Bartek’s first drifting victory.  He was victorious in the Czech Drift Series - RD3 Westlake Drift Challenge at the German Lausitzring race course.  Bartosz won in the semi / PRO category, having beaten 17 fullu-capable drivers. He came 16th in the Drifting Polish Championship in the general classification.

However, Bartosz does not rest at laurels - he still has a lot of plans,  one of the dreams is to hot the podium in the Drifting Polish Championships.
