METAL EXPO - A REVOLUTIONARY PROJECT FROM COLOSIO

Colosio will present a novelty at the Metal trade show - a special dedicated software

The primary purpose is to enable casting process virtualization to the greatest extent possible. Thus the use of Colosio and Procast technology.

The integration development works, the simulation software makes it possible for the Procast to import all the parameters. This is a simple one-button operation. The machine can immediately obtain the ideal speed and pressure curves. Therefore manually data transfer data between systems is no longer necessary. It should be remembered that systems often “speak different languages“ ​and must therefore be interpreted. This brings bout the risk of serious programming errors.

The integration, by the same token allows the reverse action. It is possible to transfer the speed and pressure curves prepared by the machine into to the ProCast software, so that it is possible to simulate what is happening in the machine in real conditions.  Thus the project helps foundries to more understand possible structural defects of moulds in an easier way.

The software upgrade can be installed on all Colosio machines equipped with the REAL TIME system which have been produced in recent years.
