Polish President will open the 18th International Defence Industry Exhibition in Kielce

MSPO 2010 will be visited by President of Poland Bronisław Komorowski, Minister of National Defence Bogdan Klich and over 30 official delegations

The President will perform the opening ceremony of the 18th International Defence Industry Exhibition, and will take a tour of the exhibition.

Programme of the visit:

10.00–10.40 – opening ceremony of the 18th International Defence Industry Exhibition attended by the President of the Republic of Poland, Bronisław Komorowski:
  • address to be delivered by the President
  • posthumous awarding Colonel Józef Teliga a Commander’s Cross of the Order of Poland’s Revival
  • address to be delivered by the Minister of National Defence, Bogdan Klich
  • address to be delivered by the British Minister for International Security Strategy, Gerald Howarth.
10.40–12.15 – tour of the exhibition by the President of the Republic of Poland

12.20 – closure of the President’s visit to Targi Kielce

Accreditations at the Press Office (Conference Centre in the main office building, 1 Zakładowa Street) from Monday (6th September) between 9 AM and 4 PM. Parking spaces for journalists available at Parking Prasowy (Press Car Park) - (Gate 1) at 1 Zakładowa Street - from 9 AM.

Space for outside broadcast vans in front of the entrance to the Press Office – access through the Press Car Park (Gate 1) from 9 AM.

Admission to the sector for the press, photographers and camerapersons at the opening ceremony attended by the Polish President allowed until 9.40 AM.
