"Chinese Silicon Valley" learned the Kielce
On Monday the representatives of the Zhongguancun Park held a meeting with the City of Kielce's authorities, paid a visit to the Kielce Technology Park and Targi Kielce. In the Kielce expo centre the guests learned about its history, business activities and achievements the expo organiser.
The park is part of the Zhongguancun zone - an extensive and advanced research base in located China. This zone is the equivalent of the Silicon Valley. The zone includes almost 40 higher education institutions and universities such as the Beijing University and Tsinghua University, as well as more than 200 municipal academic institutions, and among them Chinese Academy of Social Sciences and Chinese Academy of Engineering, 67 state laboratories, 27 national engineering research centers, 28 technical and technological research facilities, 24 university-related science and technology parks. Zhongguancun has also incorporated almost 20 thousand high-technology companies, including Lenovo and Baidu. The industrial clusters involved in, inter alia, ICT, bio-medicine, energy and environmental protection, materials, aerospace, research and development and services have also been created.
