At high noon, on 30 September (Wednesday), during the second day of the International Fair of Technologies for Foundry, a summit meeting will be held by the CAEF – Committee of Associations of European Foundries and by MEGI – Central European Foundry Initiative. Europe’s two most important institutions related to this industry are supposed to sign an agreement for co-operation between European foundry organizations. The CAEF, established in 1953, associates foundry institutions operating in 20 countries. Its headquarters is located in Düsseldorf. Continuing to boast high prestige, MEGI brings together rapidly growing foundry associations.

Exhibition stands prepared by 300 companies from 27 countries in Europe as well as the United States, Taiwan, Japan, China, and India will feature special foundry equipment, furnaces, metalworking machines, and auxiliary tools. The Kielce METAL fair enjoys membership of the UFI – Global Association of the Exhibition Industry, which brings together the world's most prestigious fair events. The fair is organized in co-operation with the Foundry Economic Chamber, the Polish Foundrymen’s Technical Association, and the Foundry Research Institute.
