"Kielce for Seniors. 60+ - this is not an age, this is a lifestyle" - the all-nation event of pioneering character, global signficance (10-12.10.2019)
Events targeted at seniors whose objective is to integrate urban prosenioral policy, expo business-sector and uniformed services. Kielce Senior Days - 10-12 October 2019. This is the largest event organised in our city so far; the Seniors Day is first and foremost addressed primarily to people aged 60+.
"Kielce for Seniors" has been initiated by the Mayor of Kielce, Bogdan Wenta. The undertaking is co-organized by Targi Kielce. The event results concept is the demonstration of the Kielce Mayor’s care for the seniors who live in our city At the same time this is the response to European demographic indicators which clearly show the ageing process of our continent’s population. The European Union has introduced the "silver economy" concept as the response to demographic changes. This notion reflects economic activity of people aged 50+ and this phenomenon impact on various the national economys’ sectors. The "Kielce for Seniors" clearly demonstrates that city of Kielce is not indifferent to demographics and statistics. The Kielce for Seniors is designed to combine urban prosenioral policy aimed at improving our city’s elderly life quality, the exhibition business and uniformed services activities focused on the safety of seniors.
10 October 2019 - the stage built on the Market Square. The Mayor of Kielce, Bogdan Wenta gives the seniors the keys to the city gates as the event opening. Thus, the ceremonial opening of the event "Kielce for Seniors" will mark the artistic program commencement. The agenda includes song and dance performances, Community Centres’ children and seniors stage presentations, the staging of the well-known poem “Rzepka” by Julian Tuwim.
11 October 2019 - the Senior Days agenda includes the "International Conference on Senior’s Safety ". Officers of various services who represent neighbouring provinces as well as foreign sister-cities Vinnitsa and Gotha have already conformed their presence. The officers of the police, fire brigades and city guards from those cities are the international knowledge partners. The equivalent of the Polish Police Central Bureau of Investigation from Erfurt, the capital of Thuringia in Germany is an important knowledge partner. The officers invited to participate in the event will discuss and exchange information on the Europe’s crime structure and counter-actions and methods designed to ensure the elder people’s safety and security. The Gotha’s senior council representatives announced that they will join the conference
. Gotha is Kielce’s sister city.
For seniors from Kielce and other cities are in for cultural and artistic events galore - the stage in the Kielce Market Square is the event’s focal point.
12 October marks the centre of gravity shift - Targi Kielce exhibition and congress centre hosts the International Senior Expo - the commencement at 10.00. Visitors will find a wide range and diversified range products and services put on show and offered by Exhibitors. The expo agenda is packed with attractions, including free medical tests and consultations, fitness classes, Nordic Walking course, ballroom dancing lessons, workshops, lectures and presentations, fashion show, meeting with the TV series star including "M jak Miłość" Teresa Lipowska. Artistic performances of well-known and popular song and dance ensembles, a disco party with DJ WIKKA and many more attractions in the pipeline. Polish and foreign exhibitors who represent health resorts and sanatoriums, hotels, travel agencies, senior homes, care and treatment homes, producers and distributors of rehabilitation equipment and modern care and rescue systems present their offer. Medical, pharmaceutical, cosmetic and sports clothing business sectors will be represented at the expo.

"Seniors Fiests" - the Kielce Seniors Council Festival
The Kielce Seniors Council and the City of Kielce Mayor invite seniors
from our city and neighbouring municipalities to join the celebration -tthe International Senior's Day. "Seniorada Kielce 2019" Saturday, 21 September 2019 mark the beginning.
10.00 the City Hall of Kielce (Rynek 1), - then the participants will march along Sienkiewicza street to the main celebrations venue, i.e the Kielce Culture Centre. The official part will follow. there are numerous artistic performances on the agenda. Dance and song ensembles, stand up comedians and many other will perform.
