The exhibition hall G’s conference room was the arena for the Laser Machining Seminar - a part of the The Laser and Laser Technology Expo Stom-LASER
Engineer Adam Maciak PhD. hab. from WULS-SGGW commenced the seminar with the lecture on preliminary research results on the wet round wood cutting with the use of a laser. The further research plans also include:
- comparative research on fruit trees seedlings development cultivated with the use of classic tools and with the help of a laser,
- studies on the pathogens penetration rate into the wood structure changed when laser cutting is applied,
- estimation benefits resulting from the use of chemical plant protection products limitation and replacement with laser technologies for fruit production,
- an "industrial" partner acquisition for funds raising for further research and the possible launch of the product on the market.
The seminar is held within the scope of the 6th The Laser and Laser Technology Expo Stom-LASER. The event attracted many young people - these young seminar participants had the greatest number of questions targeted at Engineer Adam Maciaka PhD Hab. Hab.
Their presence was also noticed by Engineer Wojciech Napadłek from the Military University of Technology and emphasized this fact right at the beginning of the lecture. In addition, he also recalled a brief history and pointed to the TEA breakthrough laser invented in 1971.
