Tuesday's workshops and lectures  at Targi Kielce's Congress Centre  were attended by almost 600 children from 16 primary schools of Świętokrzyskie region.

The proper behaviour patterns in the frozen-ponds area were discussed by the Świętokrzyskie Association - Volunteer Water Rescue Organisation. 1 through 3 grades pupils learned how to save people under when ice-sheet on a water-pond has broken, how to give first aid.

There was much more than lectures -  the lecture delivered by the rescuers-team also addressed the way to dress properly in winter and how to warm up when we are cold.  Students could practice the knowledge they have gained during the workshops. A practical drill included cardiopulmonary resuscitation on phantoms.

The sixth edition of the "Safe water sports campaign - Safe on Ice" was supported by the handball players  of PGE Vive Kielce and team's mascot -Wild Boar the Tusk.  Handballs were telling the young audience about the beginnings of their sports careers.  The Omega Hall's stage at the Targi Kielce's Congress Centre  also  hosted the Matołek the Billy Goat from European Fairy-Tale Centre in  Pacanów.

The lucky ones were selected from among the pupils in the audience. They had the chance to win prizes: vouchers to Solec-Zdrój Mineral Pools and to the European Fairy-Tale Centre in Pacanów as well as the balls signed by all PGE Vive Kielce players .
