The concert of one of this year's Per Artem ad Deum medal laureates’ set the guests and spectators in the Targi Kielce Congress Centre’s Omega hall into musical reverie
The repertory included the suite of hymns for Polish saints performed by the Bornus Consort.
Bornus Consord is a vocal ensemble founded in 1981 by Marcin Bornus Szczyciński- the early music researcher and singer , this year's laureate of the Per Artem ad Deum Medal. The group has recorded works of such composers as: Wacław from Szamotuły, Piotr from Grudziądz, Marcin Mielczewski, Mikołaj Zieleński, Bartłomiej Pękiel. They also sing liturgical monodies, Lent songs, chants about Saint Wojciech and many others.
